Where is The Cucino Culinary Academy located?
We are located at 19 Goodwill Street, Off College Road, Ekehuan, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
What programmes do you offer?
We offer four professional diploma programmes: Diploma in Culinary Arts (14 weeks), Diploma in Pastry & Baking (7 weeks), Diploma in Professional Cookery (7 weeks), and Diploma in Nigerian Cuisine (4 weeks).
Do I need any prior cooking experience to enroll?
No prior culinary experience is required for any of our programmes. We welcome beginners and take you through everything from fundamentals to advanced techniques.
Can I pay my tuition in installments?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans for all programmes. Please contact our admissions team via WhatsApp to discuss installment options.
What is the NABTEB certification?
NABTEB (National Business and Technical Examinations Board) offers an external examination in Food Preparation in Catering Craft Practice. Students can sit for this exam as an additional qualification. NABTEB registration and examination fees are separate from Cucino tuition.
What are the class schedules?
Classes are held Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling options. Please contact us via WhatsApp for current session timings and to find a schedule that works for you.
How do I enroll in a programme?
You can enroll by filling out the enrollment form on our website or by contacting us directly via WhatsApp at +234 907 882 5836. Our admissions team will guide you through the process.
What is the LPTC certification?
Through our collaboration with London Professional Training Centre (LPTC), students can undertake professional food safety training and receive the Level 2 Award in Food Safety. LPTC certification is separate from the Cucino diploma and has an additional examination fee.
Are ingredients and equipment provided?
Yes, all ingredients and professional kitchen equipment are provided as part of your tuition. Students are required to bring their personal chef uniform and knife set.
Are NABTEB and LPTC certifications included in tuition?
No. NABTEB and LPTC examinations and certifications are external and optional. Their examination fees are not included in Cucino Culinary Academy tuition fees. Students who wish to participate register and pay the applicable fees separately.
Do you offer accommodation for students?
Please contact our admissions team via WhatsApp for information about accommodation options and recommendations for students traveling from outside Benin City.
